The controls to unlock/lock my 2016 Ford Fiesta on the keys are not working properly. Both of them will not unlock or lock the doors with a 'click,' and the emergency alarm sounded at 4 a.m. last week and woke me up. The price for a key is $328.00 so I have just ordered one. Until I get it, I am using my third key that does not have a 'clicker.'
Last Wednesday, I submitted an article and photo to the Dresden Buzz paper about the Jefferson High School Alumni Banquet. I inquired about submitting an Alice in Wonder Land article and showed Lynette Dotson the June 30th article for the column in The San Saba News & Star. After reading it, Lynette said they would like for me to write the article for their twice-a-month publications.
Sunday morning when Ellie (my chocolate Labrador) and I got back from our morning walk after breakfast, the door to my condo was locked, and I forgot to put the key in my pocket. The code on my garage door did not work to open, and my three windows were locked. My house in Texas had six outside doors that were locked and no windows unlocked, so several times I climbed in the doggie door. And I am smiling remembering this. I got new batteries from my neighbor and was able to get the garage door open. I thank God for great neighbors and a good place to live. I was able to go to church and did not miss a great service of praise, worship and ministry.
I will quote some words from 'He Will Quiet You' by Cindy Berry: “Heartache and pain and troubles abound. Is there comfort anywhere? In your times of trial, lift your eyes to the Father above.”
Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
