The 2026 San Saba County Livestock Show invites the public to join us as it kicks off this Thursday, January 8th. 43 exhibitors move in with 93 entries including Broiler Chickens, Steers, Heifers, Market Swine, Market Lambs, Market Goats and Breeding goats.
Thursday night will start with a broiler show at 6 p.m. followed by an exhibitor community meal to fellowship together.
Friday morning the show picks back up at 9 a.m. with cattle- steers, heifers, and will follow with Swine, Lambs, and Goats. New to the schedule this year is a breeding doe class. At the conclusion of naming Champions in each specie, our exhibitors will compete in Showmanship classes including a peewee showmanship class.
Open to all youth age 5-7, who would like to try their hand in the ring. Come on out and buddy up with a seasoned showman!
Bucking Good Bar B Q will be hosting a food truck on site Friday and CTTC will be live streaming all shows on their Facebook page.
Saturday afternoon we invite the public again to come celebrate the efforts of these wonderful kids at the San Saba Civic Center. A buyers social will begin at 5 p.m., and a meal at 6 followed by the Premium Sale.
