The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our newest Junior Chamber Directors for the 202324 school year.
The Junior Chamber Director program allows high school students from around the county to learn more about business and social events. The students are able to attend board meetings, talk to businesses, help at events, decorate and ride on the float, and more. The Junior Directors have the opportunity to receive volunteer hours.
Payton Duggan is a secondyear Junior Chamber Director and was named Chair for the 2023-24 school year. The Chamber received a grant from the Central Texas Council of Governments to hire Payton for the summer as an intern. She has been working in the office assisting with multiple duties including helping to plan and organize our biggest event of the year - Sip N' Stroll. Payton is learning more about bookkeeping, talking to businesses, and greeting Visitors at the San Saba Visitors Center.
