The National Young Farmers Education Association (NYFEA) develops leaders, inspires service and enhances the success of potential for American agriculture, especially young agriculture leaders. As the only adult education specific entity focused on developing a new generation of young agricultural producers NYFEA helps answer the question, "where will we find the next generation of young agricultural producers and agribusiness professionals?"

The annual National Institute is a way for agriculture leaders to network with other agricultural professionals. It helps train young agriculturalists to identify opportunities and to share a positive message of the agriculture industry. Each year at the Institute, members are able to tour many different areas of agriculture from farms to agribusinesses. Outsanding speakers offer insight on important issues, and people get to know each other through fun activities.

The 2020 Institute, due to COVID-19, is going to be a virtual experience. It will be held on December 1, 2, and 3. Beginning each night at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), the program will feature farm tours and three exciting evening discussions on key topics. On December 1, the topic will focus on USDA and its activites related to COVID-19. On December 2, the topic will be, "how we address the stress and anxiety caused by the constant change of the last nine months." Finally, on December 3, we will look at the possibility for agricultural careers. There will also be a question and answer session attached to each discussion.

The Virtual Institute is open to any and all agricultural enthusiasts. To register, simply go to www.nyfea.org and click on the Virtual Institute button. If questions persist, feel free to call 334-546-9951 for more information.

(Note: San Saba is scheduled to be featured the first night, December 1.)
