Frankie Lee Rogers 80, of Llano, Texas, joined the Lord in Heaven on February 20, 2024.

A service for Frankie was held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Llano Church of Christ in Llano, Texas, and was officiated by Minister Troy Singleton. A graveside service followed at the Llano City Cemetery.

Frankie was born to John Benner and Mamie Henson Benner in San Saba, Texas, on September, 16, 1943. Frankie met Curtis Roy Rogers in San Saba and later married him on August 25, 1962; they spent 42 wonderful years together. As a faithful Christian she grew to be a long time member of the Llano Church of Christ. Frankie was a homemaker by choice and a wonderful mother to her sons; she was also known to be a caregiver to all the neighborhood children. Frankie’s family was a vital part of her life; she absolutely adored her sons, their wives, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she loved to send cards to them for all occasions and being around family for holiday gatherings and reunions brought her much joy. She would wake up every morning and post in her Facebook group “good morning peeps” as a way of checking on everyone and letting them all know she was okay. Frankie loved plants as well and had a natural green thumb.

Frankie is survived by her three sons: Dale White and his wife Lisa of Llano, Curtis Rogers and his wife Diane of Llano, and Lonnie Rogers and his wife Michelle of Burnet; two brothers: Johnny Benner of San Saba, and Gerald Benner and wife Pam of Brownwood; two sisters: Stella Benner of Leander, and Cathy Rose and husband Bill of Leander; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat- grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Catherine Rogers of Llano; sister-in-law, Barbara and her husband Bill Morris of Georgetown; many nieces and nephews as well as a very special cousin and best friend Kathy Osbourn; and many, many friends from all over.

Frankie is preceded in death by her husband ,Curtis Roy Rogers; her parents; one infant son; one infant granddaughter; one great grandchild; a sister-in-law, Margie Benner; and a brother-in-law, W.J. Rogers.
