RS FFA Chapter competed in District; teams advance to Area

On November 10th, the Richland Springs FFA Chapter attended the District contest in Marble Falls, TX. Overall, the Coyotes competed well and were able to see success against a competitive FFA District.

In the Chapter Parliamentary Procedure contest, the high school team placed 2nd overall. The 8th grade students took home 1st Place in the Greenhand Parliamentary Procedure contest.

The high school team consisted of: Joshua Usery, Lili Appleton, Jadeyn Sutherland, Ryleigh Bryant, Raegan Wright, Kenny Triplett, Sierra Tharp, Kelsey Stewart, and Maddie Bailey. The 8th grade team consisted of: Troy Kubin, Naomi Ramsey, Calyn Kubin, Maggie Bryant, Rush Norris, Jaspur Farris, Landry Brown, and Billy Perry.

Additionally, Lili Appleton and Raegan Wright competed in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest. Lili placed 10th and Raegan was 11th place.

Both Parliamentary Procedure teams will be traveling to Blanco on November 17th for the Area FFA meet.
