On October 5, the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) announced the 2022 recipients of its annual Texas Rain Catcher Award, a rainwater harvesting competition and recognition program. Pecan Spring Ranch in Menard County, Texas, was recognized in the agricultural category.

Mason - San Saba October 6, 2022 Receipts totaled 3,127 head for the week. The market started the week quite a bit softer, but on Thursday the market improved on the better-quality cattle.
