These were my grandmother’s words every time I went to a school function or a special event with the youth at the Church. She would meet me at the door when I came home and ask, “Did you behave?”. She knew by the look on my face if I did or not.

The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce welcomed its newest member of the Chamber, On Point Plumbing & Services with a ribbon cutting on Monday, October 16th. On Point Plumbing and Service, LLC was started in July of this year.

San Saba Garden Club holds October meeting

Seventeen members of The San Saba Garden Club (SSGC) convened on October 3rd at the home of Sarah Lott in Catclaw Community to finish the pumpkin pinch pots they had begun at the September meeting. Lott had fired them in her kiln to prepare for the final step of painting.

Cydney Pearce, Kathleen Hawkins, Anna Wilson, and Susan Clark served as hostesses for the Pierian Club on Thursday, October 12th, at Fiesta Winery in Bend, Texas. Twenty-two members and two associates enjoyed finger sandwiches, honey glazed pecans, and cinnamon scones on the large covered patio.
