Meet Connie! This week’s featured foster is Connie, a two-month-old bull terrier mix with the cutest brindle spots and a heart full of love! Connie is a chunky, cuddly bundle of joy who’s curious about everything around her.

Museum Offers Christmas Notecards

The San Saba County Historical Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that San Saba native, Jane Felts Mauldin, has again shared her art to benefit the museum. The new cards feature some of San Saba’s iconic buildings and scenes as depicted by Jane as ornaments on a Christmas Tree.

The October 2024 Yard of the Month is at the home of Sarah and Travis Proffitt, at 156 Weigman Lane.The front yard is focused on a barricade of hay bales, crawling with creative spiders. The roofline is festooned with witches' hats.

Ladies of the Pierian Study Club met Thursday, October 5th, for their monthly meeting in the San Saba Hotel. The hostesses were the membership committee, consisting of Celia Bell, Stephanie Huff, Rhonda Killion and Cydney Pearce.

Fall Sweep volunteers beautify community last Saturday

On Saturday, October 19, Keep San Saba Beautiful partnered with the City of San Saba to hold the FALL SWEEP citywide cleanup.Fifty-eight volunteers set out early Saturday morning to clean highways, parks, river and creek banks, and neighborhoods to beautify those areas from litter.
