San Saba Lodge No. 612 A. F. and A. M. will host the Installation of Officers for the 70th Masonic District on Saturday, June 25th. All four lodges of the district will be in attendance. The installing officer will be Roderick N. Welsh, District Deputy Grand Master and the Installing Marshal will be J. C. Mason, of Goldthwaite Lodge No. 694. A meal of barbeque brisket, chicken, beans and tea will be served at 6:30 p.m. Masons, their ladies and members of the OES are asked to bring a complimentary covered side dish, salad, bread or desert.
The installation is open to the public, and all family and friends are invited to attend. San Saba Lodge officers should be in their stations and places at 5:30 p.m. for the Lodge of Sorrow. The following passed away during the 2021-2022 Masonic year, C. Henry Reeves, John R. Ragland, Benton W. Miller, Sr., Willie D. Johnson, and Dr. Joseph J. Huckestein.
