San Saba Garden Club (SSGC) will hold its first 2020- 2021 meeting and membership drive on September 1st at 2:00 p.m.
To ensure safe social distancing, the club will gather at the spacious Civic Center in Mill Pond Park instead of the historical Garden Club building. Location of future meetings will be determined based on COVID guidelines and will be announced in the San Saba newspaper in advance of meeting dates. Unless otherwise announced, meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
The September gathering will include socializing and refreshments, a brief overview of the club’s mission and goals, a presentation of programs and special outings for the coming year, and an open question-and-answer period.
Residents of San Saba and surrounding communities are cordially invited to attend as guests in order to learn more about the activities of this vibrant group. The club is actively seeking new members and warmly welcomes all who are interested in Central Texas gardening, horticultural topics, developing friendships, and enhancing the natural beauty of their homes and communities.
