The Directors of the Friends of the Rylander Library would like to invite the community to join us during our Annual Membership drive for 2021. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to have the usual membership meeting with a guest speaker, but our organization continues to support the library, and the library continues to serve its patrons and our community. Our Board of Directors include in Precinct 1 - Marcia Dyer, Loy Nell Behrens and Mikie Bishop; in Precinct 2 - Patricia Warren, Jeanne Owen, and Pat Johnson; in Precinct 3 - Fern Putnam, Abby Snyder, and Margie Osborn; and in Precinct 4 - Linda Hardy, Sue Key, and Patsy Kirk. Our officers are President Mikie Bishop, Vice-president Linda Hardy, Secretary Jeanne Owen, and Treasurer Lynn Blankenship.
Being a "Friend" is a small way to support your local library and help provide library services to our community. Modest dues enable the Friends to fund the Summer Reading Program, have the San Saba News & Star microfilmed for genealogy research, and many other projects for the benefit of the library patrons. To join in the support of the library, please stop by 103 S. Live Oak and fill out a brief membership form and pay your annual dues - $10/ individual or family and $15/ business.
