Representatives from Central Texas communities and organizations, as well as landowners of archeological sites in the area, met Tuesday in San Saba in an effort to stimulate heritage tourism across the region through the Penatuhkah Comanche Trails Partnership. Towns represented included : San Saba, Goldthwaite, Coleman, Comanche, Early, De Leon, and Santa Anna. Anthropologist and Comanche Ambassador, Linda Pelon of Dallas, was also in attendance. Attending by way of Zoom were representatives of the National Park Service, Agents of the Comanche Nation in Oklahoma, and the Director of the Texas Forts Trail.
