The Willow City Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department members invite you to a special Quilt Show and Live Auction fundraiser on Saturday, November 18, at the Adelsverein Halle on MarktPlatz in Fredericksburg, located at 102 W Main St.

Proceeds benefit the WCVFR, an all-volunteer non-profit 501c4 organization of firefighters, medical first responders and auxiliary members.

Local Texas Hill Country and nationally recognized quilters and quilter friends from across Texas have donated 80 quilts. The Quilts of various sizes, colors and styles will be displayed from the Halle rafters for viewing. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is Viewing of Quilts, Bidder Registration and a Sales Boutique with handcrafted Specialty Items ready for gifting for the holidays.

Harold L. Lotz, Professional and Licensed Auctioneer will begin the Live Quilt Auction promptly at 1:00 p.m.

The quilt show and auction are open to all, and there is no admission charge. Becky Miles, the key organizer of the event said, “There is a common spirit among firefighters and quilters because both are willing to give of themselves for others. Please come and support this unique fundraising quilt auction and the WCVFR volunteers who are ready to provide aid to others in the time of need. This will be a fun day offering many choices for interested buyers.”
