    Museum Notes

    Last week was busy at the museum. Besides hosting San Saba HS 9th graders and a group from Austin and others, our newest exhibit was installed. A large 48-star flag was mounted on the north wall of the Honors Room. Thank you to Autumn Terry for donating it to the museum and Jody Huff for building the frame and installing it.

    This week, we are preparing for our Annual Membership meeting which will be held on Sunday, June 7th, at the Father’s House Fellowship Hall beginning at 2:00 p.m. After a brief meeting, our featured speaker will be Curt Locklear who will inform and entertain us about Texas Hero, General Ben McCulloch. The museum will be open during the meeting. This meeting is open to all interested in Texas history.
