MOE 5/6 (19-5) traveled to Cedar Park, Texas, on May 30, to take part in the 2026 TXBA “Above the Rim Classic.” MOE 5/6 had wins over LTE Max 629, led by Abigail Davila with 16 points, followed Victoria Davis with 10 points and Evelyn Macedo with 10 points. In the second round, MOE 5/6 defeated Lady Unbreakable 31-14, led by Victoria Davis with 12 points. MOE 5/6 defeated JP Elite in the championship game to win the tournament, Victoria Davis led the team with 15 points. This was championship number 3 for MOE 5/6 this year.
MOE 7/8 (19-5) claimed the 2026 TXBA “Above the Rim Classic Championship.” MOE has been challenged by the loss of several key players but continues to out play their competition. MOE 7/8 had wins over True Ball 67-17, led by Greenley Jo Moore with 32 points, followed by Hadly Reid with 12 points, and Khloe Martinez 12 points. MOE 7/8 defeated the Austin Lady Magic in a nail biter 31-28 in the second round, led by Greenley Jo Moore with 18 points. The championship game was another nail biter as MOE 7/8 defeated PSB 2031 Elite 43-39. MOE 7/8 was led by Carla Jimenez with 14 points, followed by Khloe Martinez with 12 points and Greenley Jo Moore with 10 points. This was championship number 4 for MOE 7/8 this year.
