You have seen many notes online...
“Has anyone seen my cows?”
“Cows are walking down the street on ....”
“Missing horses?”
“Has anyone seen our little dog?”
“Anyone missing these precious pups?”
Many have contacted San Saba County Friends of Animals about the missing or found animals.
There are two animals that were still missing at press time:
• George, a yellow Lab, was lost in the Rocky Hollow subdivision, about 8 miles south of Hwy 16. His owner, Daniel Moise, can be reached at 512-775-9938.
• Chonck a blue heeler went missing from 836 CR 114. He has limited mobility in his back legs. His owner, Cutter Burkhalter, can be reached at 325-205-9730.
They are also looking for the owner of a dog found by the Texas National Guard.
If you are missing a pet/animal, or if you spot a possible lost pet/animal, please contact the San Saba County Friends of Animals at 325-372-PETS (ext. 0). They will do their best to help find the missing pet or missing owner.
