Students at San Saba Elementary have been working on earning miles and running a marathon since August 2023. Marathons are reached by kids finishing miles in achievable increments, or completing minutes of heartpumping activity. All grade levels from PreK-3 to 4th grade participate every Monday, and currently our little dillos have earned 6,708 miles. We have some dedicated dillos who choose to spend a portion of their Free Fun Thursday running to earn an extra mile or two. I am very proud of their hard work and determination to earn a Marathon!
Kindergarteners Asher Little, Julian Rodriguez, and Tommy Gilliam have now joined our older students in reaching a marathon!
First graders: Brian Sanchez, Eli Eudy, Cason Owen, Maddox Moore, Jovani Aguilar, Angel Correa, Diego Cruz, Dillinger Alcorn, Mateo Martinez, Maritza Mendoza, Chloe Cooley, Paisley Ward, and Sofia Licea.
Second Graders: Estefani Guerrero, John Clay, Aaron Cuevas, Dakota Gage, Hadley Fuller, Hugh Henslee, Luke Naizer, and Christian Brown.
Third Graders: Ryder Jost, Ubaldo Mendoza, Fabiola Correa, MJ Bagley, Evelyn Macedo, Sophia Ramirez, Jose Morales, Bentley Turner, Landon Baskin, Colton Stanton, Bryce Johnson, Daniella Salinas, and John Wells.
Fourth Graders Yadira Macias, Santiago Mendoza, Remington Nelms and Sabella Cox have now joined the students at San Saba Elementary who have completed a Marathon!
