Utility Coordinator Bridgett Macedo was selected as the Employee of the Month for May of 2025. Bridgett has been with the city for 13 years. She was described by City Treasurer Charlene Lindsay as an excellent, valuable employee.
County Justice of the Peace Sharon Blossman was honored by the City Council. Mayor Ken Jordan stated Judge Blossman gets called out, no matter what time of day or night, on a lot of things that occur in the city. He described her as going beyond her duty, dedicated, and doing a top job.
Linda Hardy was recognized with the Election Judge Appreciate award. Mayor Ken Jordan said anyone who has voted here in the last 25 years knows who she is. He stated she knows who we are, our address, and what precinct we should vote in. Linda added, “and your age, too.” Mayor Jordan said she has done a great job.
