The San Saba Golf Course was not the only place that sustained damage during the strong storms that made their way through San Saba County as well as a big swath of Texas last Thursday, May 22nd.
Many trees were down, and some roads were flooded. Power lines sustained damage.
Information received from FindEnergy.com at 11:52 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, showed there were many power outages in the area: San Saba County, Texas - 612 out of 3,975 tracked meters (15.40%) are without power in San Saba County, Texas.
As of Monday, May 26th, there were no power outages in the area according to the same source. However, there are reports of damage caused by lightening in the area. One such report: street light at Annex and S. 8th Street.
When I mentioned the street light report, he said there are many reports of damage that are being addressed.
