San Saba County Friends of Animals recently received a special gift from local artist Mae Claire, who donated her time and talent to paint the front of the new animal shelter building.
Mae Claire created colorful artwork of dogs and cats on the front doors to make the shelter look more welcoming and friendly for visitors. The paintings add a warm and cheerful touch to the building and help show the shelter’s mission of caring for animals in our community.
Volunteers say the artwork makes the shelter feel less like a building and more like a place of hope for the animals waiting for homes.
San Saba County Friends of Animals is very thankful for Mae Claire’s kindness and willingness to share her artistic skills to help make the shelter a more inviting place for both people and pets.
