Receipts totaled 3433 head. A lot of good cattle were on hand this week with very good buyer demand. The stocker steers were steady to $3 higher with 27 steers 536 lbs at $398.00 ($2133.28), and the stocker heifers were mostly steady to $5 higher. The feeder steers were $3-$4 higher with 12 steers 675 lbs at $363.00 ($2450.25). The heavy weight heifers were $6-$10 higher with 41 heifers 640 lbs at $375.00 ($2400.00) and 21 heifers 660 lbs at $367.50 ($2425.50). A set of open Tigerstripe heifers weighing 788 lbs sold for $385.00 ($3033.80). The packer cows were $5-$7 higher with the top cow 1485 lbs at $184.00 ($2732.40), and the packer bulls were $7-$10 higher with the high bull 2020 lbs at $234.00 ($4726.80). The pairs and bred cows were steady.
