Receipts totaled 2,894 head. Demand continued to be strong again this week. The stocker steers sold $4-$5 higher with 17 steers 395 lbs at $455.00 ($1797.25) and 12 steers with 577 lbs at $370.00 ($2134.90). The stocker heifers were $5-$8 higher with 16 heifers 287 lbs at $505.00 ($1449.35) and 21 heifers 581 lbs at $338.00 ($1963.70). The feeder steers were steady with 5 steers 791 lbs at $304.00 ($2404.64), and the feeder heifers were also steady. The packer cows were steady and packer bulls were $2 higher. Pairs and bred cows were steady in very good demand.
