The June 15th meeting of Hill County CattleWomen (HCCW) will be held at Karen Schneider’s ranch, the Bar Cross Cattle Company, at 1015 FM 474 in Boerne, Texas 78006. The Social Hour will begin at 10 a.m. and the meeting will start at 10:30 a.m.
We are having a very special meal: beef tenderloin with bacon and mushrooms, and chicken tenders in a green chili poblano pepper cream sauce, along with wonderful sides and a yummy dessert! This fantastic lunch will be $20.00.
Wear your outdoor "ranch attire." The meeting will happen whether rain or shine. Installation of new officers, annual awards, and a ranch tour are on the agenda!
Here are the directions to Karen Schneider’s ranch:
• If travelling south on 281, go west on FM 473 towards Kendalia. The intersection is approximately 7.5 miles past Kendalia. Take FM 474 south towards Boerne and the gate is on your left approximately 3.5 miles from the intersection.
• If travelling from Fredericksburg, take FM 1376 south towards Sisterdale. Take FM 473 east towards Kendalia. About 7 miles from Sisterdale is the intersection with FM 474 and you go south on FM 474.
If you google the address, it will show it. Also, look for the high fence on the east side of the road. We will have a flag at the gate. When you get to the ranch gate, go down the caliche road about two miles till you get to the camp house. We will have signs directing people.
