Easter Sunrise Service at Mill Pond

The San Saba County Ministerial Alliance is excited to invite you to an Easter Sunrise Service this coming Sunday, April 12, at Mill Pond Park. We are grateful that the City of San Saba was able to activate the FM transmitter used during the Christmas Season. This transmitter will allow each vehicle that comes to Mill Pond to hear the service at 88.7 on their FM dial.

The service will begin at 7:00 A.M. and will include Scripture reading, prayer and Easter devotional. The scenery of Mill Pond in the morning hour should help each worshiper reflect on the first Easter morning when Mary found the tomb empty and saw Jesus alive in the garden. The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our Christian faith and declares that death has been conquered and eternal life has been made possible through Christ. The Bible declares, “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (I Corinthians 15:3-4, NKJ).

In this season of fear, uncertainty and seclusion, we are grateful for the opportunity to come together in our vehicles on Easter morning, maintaining the prescribed social distance, and bear witness to our faith as we celebrate a risen Savior. We invite the entire San Saba community to join and worship with us.
