Whether you live in Algerita, Live Oak or San Saba voting precincts, the thing to do next Tuesday is, GET OUT And VOTE. Go and vote whether you are for or against irrigation––this election has nothing to do with building an irrigation system; it is for the purpose of taking the necessary step to find out if we want to build an irrigation system. Nothing effective can be done without this step. THE STAR is for irrigation, first, last and all the time. We have stated that publicly before, and we stick to it.

The acorns are already falling and these tiny morsels are to a deer like candy to a kid. Hunting season is getting nearer, nearer and nearer.
