110 Years Ago December 17, 1914

W. C. McBride of San Angelo was here this week for the purpose of taking a deer hunt, which he did in company of Jim Dofflemyer, Eugene Hagan and D. A. Autry. Mc and Gene each got a nice buck each; Jim and Angus got what the little boy shot at.

Tom Huffstutler was going with her he didn’t have his lights turned on, and ran over a stump and pulled the shavs out of his buggy, therefore they had to walk home. Be careful boys and always have plenty of light on the subject.

These rainy days give the hunters time to chase rabbits. Mr. Billy Walker, Mr. Hamilton thought they had a fox chase on hand and roused the neighbors with their yells and when it was caught to their amazement it was a cotton tail rabbit.
