Dr. Ryan-Crowe is on the home economics staff of the Texas Agricultural Extension Service, The Texas A&M University System.

On the radio this morning I heard Brown county has had trouble with people dumping trash on the highway and public roads. There is a fine of up to $200 for this offense. We also are having trouble with this. People hauling trash to the dump let it blow along the road. There was one such incident in front of our house one day last week and we don't appreciate it. After all the time and effort we put in to get this highway through here we should try to keep it clean. – Elm Grove Echos, Mrs. J. P. Cummings
