CITY MANAGER’S REPORT:

Mr. Weik reported the following to the Council:

• There were great results with the Mill Pond Park lights; numerous thousands came. The lights are now being taken down.

• The tennis courts slab will be poured in the morning at 2:00 a.m. so there will be less traffic when poured.

• Work is going on at Lowe’s; the schedule is behind due to weather. It is looking good.

• Mr. Glaze noted that Michael picked up some equipment for the golf course for not much money and is ready for the next season.

• At the Civic Center, the pennies pond has been covered up; it is to be a grassy area now. This will improve the look.

It was decided to move the next month's meeting to February 11th due to scheduling issues.

Mayor Ken Jordan adjourned the meeting at 6:09 p.m.
