For almost a year I have been getting unwanted messages that pop up on my computer that report: System Alert! Attack Detected! Critical Virus Alert! PC at risk!

System Alert! Your computer infected! Malware Detected! 404 Files Corrupted! During the time these messages appear I cannot scroll or type in that area. Last Friday, my computer locked with the warning you have a virus; do not shut down computer call this number. I called the number and was given the information that they could fix it. All they needed was my password. I told them I had PC Matic. He told me they could not fix it, but they could for a little over $200. I knew something was wrong so I pretended I was looking for my password. And then told them I could not find it and got off the phone with him. That evening my daughter Jenny got the warning off the computer by shutting it down and back on again. Saturday evening I was on the computer and the warning System Alert came on again and continued with the unwanted messages. I called the Zanesville Police Department this morning and reported this Scam. The woman was very kind as she reported there wasn't anything the police could do about this report. Has anyone reading this handled a situation like this? If so, how do you get rid of this Scam?

So to offset this bad news I am remembering when God unexpectantly brought special people into my life. #1. In Millersburg, Ohio, I met Rose Fenton at the laundromat from Flint Michigan. Her husband had a temporary job in the oil field, and we were both new to the community. We visited her at their home years later. #2. When I was attending the funeral of Jim Childress in Goldthwaite years ago, Charlotte Berryhill sat next to me. I heard her beautiful voice, invited her to sing in the Singing Women of West Central Texas and that became a longlasting friendship. #3. At theAustin airport I met a woman who owned Opa's Schnitzel Hut (Homemade Authentic German Meals) in Harker Heights, Texas. She was very helpful to get me to where I needed to be. My husband Larry and I went there to eat, so if y'all go there and Eat In/Take Out, tell her Alice sent you!
