I got a call from the veterinary's office to remind me of Ellie's appointment tomorrow, February 14th. I am changing vets because this one is new to the area located next to the Pet Store we walk to here in Zanesville, Ohio. No more traumatic car rides for me and Ellie! Brings me to remember when I lived in San Saba, and Karen, the Editor of SSN&S called me to help find her dog. We rode around San Saba - she looked on her side and I looked from the passenger side of her car. Frustrated and concerned, we came back to her house where Steve told us that he found the dog under their bed!

Pastor Tom Brand called me this morning, Monday, February 13, with great news from Mexico. Pastor Gabriel in San Fernando, Mexico, has been having services at a community building at a village around an hour from San Fernando that had no kitchen or chairs. The great news is Pastor Gabriel has been given a church in the same area that has been closed. The Fathers House plans to add on restrooms and see about other needs. Glory Hallelujah!

In the February 9th edition of the SSN&S, I read the obituaries of Larry Hibler and Marvin Riggs who were people that my husband Larry and I knew. Larry Hibler processed a lot of deer for us, and we ate at his restaurant. Larry hunted on Marvin Riggs property and bought deer feed and etc. at his store. At The Fathers House, Marvin would sing or give you a made-up poem for our pleasure as we greeted.

Wasn't the Super Bowl game exciting? A lot of bets and advertising depended on the outcome of the game that was a concern for people. Wouldn't it be great if people were as concerned about where they will spend eternity? Oh to have the assurance to know that God will guide you here on earth and you'll win and spend eternity with Him!
