I just heard a funny song about the Ohio weather on the radio. It snowed yesterday when I was on my way to church in Dresden. It stopped around 3 p.m. with hardly any accumulation because it warmed up. Fifty-nine years ago on November 17th, I know it was not freezing because it was my wedding day to Larry Smith, and we had pictures taken outside the church in Dresden, Ohio.

My neighbor's granddaughter, Journey who is in the 7th grade, visited me yesterday; we listened to the OSU game at 3:30 on the radio and looked for a family recipe for Oatmeal cake for my niece Beth Ann that her mother made years ago.

The condo Bible study that meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. is meeting for lunch tomorrow at Bob Evans. That evening after work, my daughter is coming, and we will go out to eat and then go over information about my meeting with an attorney later this week.

Jeanie Lentz called me Thursday, November 11th, and told me that Sam Purtee died that morning. Last week, I reported that I went to see Sam on Monday, November 1st. So thankful that I did. Later that day, I was informed by a friend that Margie Wagner was in the hospital. I don't know if it is the same hospital where her husband Brice has been in critical care. My tears, thoughts and prayers are with them.

The Bible can be our help and hope with very important information. Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. 'May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, Who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and hope, which we don't deserve, comfort your hearts with all comfort, and help you.' 2 Thessalonians 2:16 & 17

My friend Debra in San Saba called me when I was writing this article and told me that Brice Wagner died yesterday, Sunday November 14th, and that Margie Wagner was out of the hospital. Fifteen minutes later, Margie Wagner called me, and we cried together and know that Larry, Sam and Brice are rejoicing in Heaven.
