The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center are ready to once again welcome hunters to town by kicking off the start of hunting season at the Annual Hunters Welcome Friday, October 31, 2025, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Whether you’re local or visiting, it is always a great event to highlight the amazing hospitality Lampasas has to offer. Everything you need to make your hunting experience complete can be found in Lampasas.
Plan on having lunch with us and support the community by coming out to the HEB parking lot at 705 S. Key Avenue where you can enjoy a Texas-sized BBQ lunch. We have expanded the menu this year and will offer meals for $10.00 (Sausage Wrap), $12.00 (BBQ Sandwich), or $15.00 (Combo); while supplies last. (All meals come with all the fixings, chips, cookie, and a drink.)
The first 250 people to stop by get a goodie bag! Stop by the Game Warden display truck and learn about hunting in the area while loading up on all your hunting needs at businesses around town.
