The 2020 Pecan Food Show has been canceled.

COVID-19 has struck again. For the first time in its 64-year history, the Pecan Food Show will not be held. The first one, in 1956, was held as the culinary division of the Chamber of Commerce Pecan Show that had begun the previous year.

Although the competition will not happen this year, the new 2020 edition of “Pecan Food Show Champion Recipes” containing new recipes from last year’s show is now on sale. They can be found at Alamo Pecan, Oliver Pecan and the San Saba County Extension office in the courthouse. The cost is $15.00.
