Submitted by San Saba ISD
A new Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility and a new Band Hall are two of the key components in Proposition A of the San Saba ISD bond proposal.
The planned CTE building would support student training in high-demand fields, including programs focusing on technology and the arts, audio/video technology, teaching and training, health science and more. CTE programs provide students with real-world skills that prepare them for careers after graduation.
The San Saba Band Program currently serves 110 high school students and also provides instruction for students in grades 5 through 7. If approved by voters, the new band hall included in Proposition A would accommodate up to 125 students at a time, and include designated storage for instruments and personal belongings. Currently, limited space in the existing facility requires students to leave items like backpacks outside during class.
More details about the bond are available on the district website.
Early voting begins April 22 and ends April 29. Election Day is May 3, 2025.
