Richland Springs Trade Days returns October 17 for Fall Edition

Richland Springs Trade Days will return Saturday, October 17, for its 2026 Fall Edition, bringing vendors, food, shopping and visitors back to The Feedlot in Richland Springs.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public with free admission and free parking.

Trade Days began in 2021 and has continued to grow into one of Richland Springs' largest community events. This year will mark only the second Fall Trade Days, and early interest indicates it could be the largest fall show yet, with more than 50 vendors expected.

Vendors will be coming from communities across Central and West Texas, including Bangs, Bertram, Blanket, Brady, Brookesmith, Brownwood, Burnet, Elm Grove, Florance, Gatesville, Goldthwaite, Hext, Junction, Kingsland, Lampasas, Llano, Locker, Lohn, Melvin, Richland Springs, Rochelle, San Angelo and San Saba.

There should be something for just about everyone. Items expected for sale include chickens, guineas, baked goods, metal art, permanent jewelry, woodcraft, knives, fishing equipment, tamales, antiques, leather goods, quilts, pillows, tools, jellies, sauces, tumblers and porch decor.

Food will also be a big part of the day. Food trucks and vendors are expected to include barbecue, South African food, an ice cream truck and a lemonade truck, giving shoppers plenty of choices while they make their way through the vendor booths.

A special thank-you goes to The Feedlot, Reagan Maxcey and his staff for their continued hospitality and for allowing Richland Springs Trade Days to use their facility. Their support has provided the event with a welcoming location where vendors and visitors can gather for a full day of shopping, food and fellowship.

Whether you are from Richland Springs, somewhere else in Central Texas, West Texas or beyond, everyone is invited to make the trip and spend the day with us. Come walk through the booths, enjoy some great food, visit with vendors from across the region and experience the kind of friendly small-town atmosphere that makes Trade Days special. It is a great opportunity to support small businesses, independent vendors and local makers while enjoying a day out in Richland Springs.

A new face will also become part of the Richland Springs Trade Days tradition beginning in January 2027. Trader Jack, the big jackrabbit with the unmistakable ears and teeth, will officially become the mascot of Richland Springs Trade Days. Trader Jack will not be appearing at the October Fall Trade Days, but he is expected to make his official Trade Days debut with the 2027 Spring Show. Plans are already underway for plenty of fun involving Trader Jack, including appearances and other special opportunities as the event continues to grow.

Mark your calendars now for the 2027 Richland Springs Spring Trade Days on Saturday,April 17, 2027. The spring show traditionally draws nearly 100 vendors each year and has become the largest Trade Days event on the calendar. Vendor spots for the 2027 Spring Trade Days will open in January.
