The recent rains have been wonderful, but like many of my neighbors, my tank is not full. The soil is so thirsty that the rain is sucked down deep with little runoff. My area needs another three or four inches. The rain has helped the grass. My garden is overrun with weeds. Time to drag out the weed eater.
The men’s prayer breakfast was well attended again this month. The guest speaker was Don Fawcett, Executive Director of Kingdom Kinetics.
Don retired from the Baptist Center and is involved with some missionary work. He spoke of his trip to Africa, and the fact that a door to Germany has opened for missionaries. He is currently building a home in San Saba. If you missed this month, please come by next month. There is no admission fee, and a great breakfast is supplied.

We are looking forward to a super successful year. Coach Eckert is working with the volleyball girls to get them prepared for their season. We are looking forward to a strong year in academics and sports. Mrs. Wilson is an impressive principal, and this year is stirring excitement in faculty and students. Go Coyotes.
Our prayer needs are great. Our government needs to work together and get some spending cuts passed. We need peace in Israel, Iran, and Ukraine. Our borders are finally secure, but we need prayers for the unrest around the country. We have multiple community members fighting cancer or other serious hospital procedures. Our school year needs prayers for unity and peace. God, please protect our police and ICE members. Most of all, protect our precious troops and their families.
I’m getting beautiful pictures from my son. Greece is gorgeous.
