Well howdy, dearest San Saba friends, and how has the first week of 2025 been for you? I tell ya, I have been so confused by the weather I thought mom had moved us to another planet!
Speaking of weather, mom told me there is a good chance I will experience my first snow this week. Um, ask me if the possibility fills me with excited anticipation?? How shall I put this…I would be more excited if I vacationed in a freezer with a bag of ice my only resting place… NO! You must understand, I like to eat banana popsicles, not become one!!
I had to make a visit to the vet this past week because of flying over the couch and landing on the floor. Dr. Key gave me a shot and some pills to help me not feel pain; however, they did nothing for dachshund dumb stunts and the anguish of embarrassment. I do not think I will ever qualify as a dachshund acrobat! I will say the people at San Saba Animal Clinic are so kind and caring, and it makes such a difference.
Mom and Mandy moved a huge dresser out because mom invested in a much smaller one. Mom told me she will put it out front with a FREE sign on it. Question? Does a dresser actually dress a human? I think they may just be a clothes storage place with a need to feel important!
Stay warm, my beautiful friends! Mom and I will stay under blankets, brave the outside only when necessary, and send each of you the warmth of our love and kind wishes!
