You saw it right! Last week, the house known to many as the Tacos Mi Casa building was moving from its familiar spot on W. Wallace St. street over to E. Church St. The house next door, Kevin Shahan’s office, will also be moving, hopefully this week. Mr. Shahan, the owner of the two houses, sold them to make room for construction of a new commercial building. This new commercial building will span Mr. Shahan’s three lots on W. Wallace (between Sonic and Double G Pitstop). Once the second house is moved, construction can begin. Mr. Shahan estimates the construction will take approximately 12-14 months and hopes to be open for business in his new building sometime between October and December of 2024.

Mr. Shahan’s CPA office will be on the far east side of the complex, and the other side will house a restaurant with a drive-thru. There will be additional commercial spaces available as well.

Kevin Shahan CPA’s office will be temporarily located at the Arrowhead Bank Building on the second floor until completion of the project in 2024.

Tacos Mi Casa is now located at 311 N. High Street.
