Hello from Bend, WOW! Could someone please turn the temperature down outside?! It’s as hot as Hades, y’all. Make sure you’re checking on your pets and your friends. Stay inside. Stay hydrated. That’s my public service announcement for today.

On to actual news: Since my last article, William Clark celebrated his 86th birthday with a full house of family!

Michael and Gennifer Brister celebrated an anniversary!

The family of William and Jane Clark has suddenly lost yet another family member, Bill Ennis. Please keep Danny and the Clark families in your prayers.

Doug, Kristie, Jordan and Jaylee Messer returned from a trip to see Noah’s Ark in Kentucky, Niagara Falls, DC and other neat sites.

Matt, Jamie, AJ, and Abby Norris flew to London last month to visit Matt’s families and onto Wales and other beautiful places. They saw some beautiful sites and the countryside was so lush and green. Baby Abby loved running and playing ad meeting new family members.

Congratulations goes out to Skylar Harris. She graduated from Cherokee High School in May, scoring three scholarships, “A” Honor Roll, and being inducted into the National Honor Society! Skylar has registered for the fall semester at CTC and is excited to move into her dorm room.

Dan Craig recently had a hernia surgery and could use some prayers for a quick recovery.

Robert “Bad Bob” Fullerton’s celebration of life has been scheduled for July 24th, Monday, 6:00 p.m. at the Bend Community Center. The meal will be potluck, so please bring a dish if you are able.

Until next time, Brandie from the Bend
