By the time this column comes out, Richland Springs will either be celebrating a monumental record breaking 9th State Championship or we will be grieving and preparing for another run at that title next year. Everyone knows "Coyotes fight; never die."
Sometimes you hear people say the Coyotes' fight never dies. Either way you put it, the fight in Coyotes never dies or the Coyotes fight and never die. We will fight a good fight. It is a little unnerving that we are favored to win handily. We all know things happen. Whatever the outcome, there will be a crowd of Coyote fans cheering their team on to victory. May God keep them and all the travelers from both teams safe. I am excited because I have never been to “Jerry’s World,” and I expect to be stunned by its magnificence. It will be on Fox Sports, if you can’t make it to the game.
It has been a hectic week. Tuesday, the quilting ladies had their Christmas party. If you want to hang around a super fun group of Christian ladies, quilt, and have a good time on a Tuesday, come on over to First Baptist Church. We study God’s Word, and we take time to care for one another.
