In the words of our President, Donald Trump, in regard to National Entrepreneurship Month, "The United States is home to the most creative, passionate, and talented minds anywhere in the world. Throughout our history, we have pioneered revolutionary innovations, and we continue to reach new heights in business, science, and technology. During National Entrepreneurship Month, we celebrate the determination of those who strike out on their own to fuel our robust economy."
San Saba is a unique community full of heart and commodore. A community where generations have grown up and raised their children. A community that so many see promise and an opportunity for their American Dream, as they join our community as neighbors, friends and business owners.
Our Local businesses have set a shining example for today's youth with their tenacity and fortitude during these trying times. We have seen how our sons and daughters have been encouraged by possibilities. That childhood entrepreneur spirit should be fostered in our youth - who have shown resilience through this time as well.
As the listed reasons are why, in combination with the Federal Proclamation for National Entrepreneurship Month, San Saba County would like to proclaim November 18, 2020, as San Saba Youth Entrepreneurship Day. Our youth are our future, and we want to continue to encourage that American hardworking spirit within them. Our San Saba County Chamber of Commerce is working on new and innovative ways to recognize our youth as they innovate, create, and succeed in the New Year. This is our community's first step in recognizing our up-and-coming entrepreneurs in their adolescence.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BYRON THEODOSIS, Judge of San Saba County, by virtue of the authority vested in my by the San Saba's Commissioners' Court, I do hereby proclaim November 18, 2020, as San Saba Youth Entrepreneurship Day. I call upon all residents of San Saba County to commemorate this day with appropriate programs and activities to celebrate.
