San Saba High School Academic Team wins Llano Yellow Jacket Classic

Twenty-seven San Saba High School students traveled to Llano on Saturday, February 10, to compete in a UIL academic invitational event. Team San Saba took first place overall and many of our students won or placed in their respective events. We are extremely proud of these students and look forward to their DISTRICT contest on April 3 in Mason.

Zapata makes Dean's List at SHSU

Julian Zapata of San Saba was recognized as earning the honor of being on the Fall 2023 Dean's List at Sam Houston State University. The students listed on the Dean's List of Academic Honors at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, are undergraduates who have achieved a GPA of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours..
