The article in the SSN&S several weeks ago about the solar eclipse caught my attention. It gave information that the eclipse would be seen in San Saba on Monday, April 8th. The Dresden Buzz (printed in Dresden, Ohio) March 22-April 4 edition reported the solar eclipse will be visible here in Zanesville, Ohio, where I live. On Monday, March 25th, I will be going to the John McIntire Library in Zanesville, Ohio, for an eclipse program that will include receiving a pair of eclipse glasses.

Our Why. As spring break winds down and we find ourselves contemplating how we are going to navigate the torrent that is the spring semester, I wanted to take a moment to share a brief story from over the break that served to me as a reminder as to why we do what we do.

San Saba Middle School band gives Excellent and Superior performances

On March 6th, the San Saba Middle School Band traveled to Llano to perform in the UIL Region 32 Concert and Sightreading Evaluations. These evaluations include performing a concert for a panel of adjudicators and then performing a piece of music never seen before for another panel of adjudicators in the sightreading room.
