This is the last week of the 2019-2020 school year, which included over two months of separation and social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Graduation for the Senior Class of 2020 is near! Richland Springs ISD will be graduating 15 seniors this May. The 2020 graduation class includes: Wade Appleton, Gracie Ashworth, Josiah Beam, Deklyn Chandler, Massiah Clardy, Adrianna Grubb, Callie Hammet, Kimberly Nilson, Agustin Oyervides, Hank Perry, Walker Shannon, Kurtis Simon, Jaianna Smith, Kelton Tippie, and Endy Trujillo Navarrete, Jr. This year’s class has provided great leadership. Best of luck to all seniors in their future endeavors!

Senior Class 2020 Graduation Ceremonies will be held Friday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Coyote Field. Each graduate may have eight guests (Closed to the Community) at Coyote Field. Class Valedictorian Ms. Jaianna Smith, and class Salutatorian Mr. Wade Appleton will give speeches from the press box. After Graduation, there will be a Senior Parade through downtown Richland Springs to view the fifteen seniors’ personal flags flying on the streets of the City of Richland Springs.

The community honors you, the 2020 graduates of Richland Springs ISD. A special thanks to recognize the faculty and staff of Richland Springs ISD. Thank you to each of the faculty members for educating our children. Thank you for your time, your passion, and your talents which you have so generously shared. Thanks and congratulations to the parents, family members, and friends whose support and faith brought us here to celebrate the Senior Class of 2020.

We appreciate all the parents’ efforts at home to complete the at-home learning. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. Words of Encouragement are needed as we continue the journey with COVID-19. Please pray for our schools and our country.
