Teachers are ramping up as the school year kicks into full gear in the second six weeks. Teachers are dealing with stressed-out students, nervous parents, demanding administrators, COVID and, you know, a personal life. Students have homework ramping up, some are dealing with college application season, and most students have to deal with wearing face masks, closed-toe shoes instead of summer flipflops. The first semester of school is always busy, and stressful, for all involved. Take a deep breath and relax, Christmas is only three months away.

Come out and support the cheerleaders and the student athletes at the games, you won’t be disappointed! COVID case updates from Marsha Hardy, Emergency Management Coordinator for San Saba County, reveal 15 active cases in San Saba County. With each update to schools, Marsha Hardy includes this message: “Simply: wash your hands, wear your mask, pay attention to your surroundings and, mostly, be kind!” We are fortunate to be in Richland Springs!

Community involvement is the key to our success!
