The Coronavirus COVID-19 brought the United States into clear focus of the reality of a pandemic problem. School districts must remain focused on this Public Health Crisis first and foremost. Only faculty and staff arrived back at school on Monday, March 16 after a week of spring break. During the day on Monday, staff at Richland Springs ISD made a revision to our school calendar. As a result, no students will be at school this week. Students will report for school on March 23, 2020. Contact Principal Rhonda Wyatt with your concerns and questions.

We are here to work with parents and students to complete this school year in a safe-as-possible manner.

Please look at the information on this webpage. According to the webpage there are a few simple routines that will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

There are simple steps everyone can take to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses like COVID-19:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcoholbased hand sanitizer.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Stay home when you are sick.

• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Ten weeks remain in the 2019-2020 school year. Please pray for our schools and our country.

Richland Springs is a good place to live and raise a family. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. We must educate ourselves and become knowledgeable on COVID-19. Working together we can overcome any obstacle. Thanks for all you do!
