Lydia Patrick, 88, of Bowser Community passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born to John and Eva Martin on June 9, 1932, in Bowser Community, San Saba County.

Lydia lived most of her life in San Saba County. She graduated from Richland Springs High School. Lydia attended Bowser Community Church. Mrs. Patrick loved sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, and canning food. Lydia loved to play volleyball, and she was very giving, loving and altruistic. Lydia loved her family dearly.

Mrs. Patrick is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eva Martin, and two brothers, Bill Martin and Jackie Martin.

Lydia is survived by her husband, Earl C. Patrick; one son, Perry Lynn Patrick and his wife, Mary, of Brownwood, Texas; one daughter, Teresa Patrick Bush, and her significant other, O.C. Harmon, of Brady, Texas; two brothers, Kirk Martin of San Angelo, Texas, and Max Martin of DeSoto, Texas; and one sister, Claralean M. Sullivan of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren: Marcus P. Patrick, Patrick W. Bush, Carlos DeLaGarza, Adam Garza and Julie Kilgore; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held Wednesday, July 29, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.

Graveside services were held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Varga Chapel Cemetery, Bowser Community, Texas, with Barry Fikes officiating.
