Larry William Walker, 79, of Ozona, Texas, died peacefully on May 26, 2020.

“Walker” was born January 29, 1941, to Dorothy (Rains, Blair) and Raymond “Dick” William Walker. He grew up in San Saba, Texas, where he attended high school.

Walker married Barbarra Joan Davidson on October 31, 1977, in Austin, Texas. They lived in Round Rock briefly before moving to her home in Ozona, Texas.

Walker worked for Dover Elevator Company, the Circle Bar Truck Stop, and eventually retired from his business, L&W Repair.

Walker is survived by his wife Barbarra Walker; sister, Susan Walker Niemtschk; nieces, Jill and Courtney; brother, Jimmy Walker; and daughter, Jima, and son, Clay; sisters-in-law Becky Davidson Madray and Anne Davidson; brother-in-law, Tom Davidson; nieces, Camille Rey and Meredith Montgomery who both loved him dearly; their daughters, Kimber Clark and Georgia Montgomery; and son/ nephew, Joe David “Holy Water” Vasquez, who has many stories we hope to never hear!

Walker will be greeted in Heaven by Annie, Boon, Gracie, and Kelley, his amazing dogs! Left behind is Dolly to run the house.

Walker lived life by taking care of others. He made many trips to help his friends and family, and never said no to jumping in the “Doghouse” with his dogs to run and help anyone who needed help. His trips to the Devil’s River were his favorite. He loved visiting the family ranch and also his many friends around town. He was one of a kind!

Walker's wishes were to be with his dogs, so the family will meet at the ranch to spread his ashes at a later time.

If you loved Walker, or knew him, stop and pet your dog today, or help out an animal shelter in your area. His love for all animals was what he was best at.

We will miss you, Walker!
