Jose Luis Chavarria

Jose Luis Chavarria, age 73, of San Saba, Texas, passed away in Brownwood, Texas, on Monday, November 16, 2020. Jose was born on February 2, 1947, in Acuna Mexico to Cecilo Chavarria and Maria (Ozuna). Jose was a long time resident of San Saba, Texas. He married Josie Chavarria on October 16, 1971; they were married for 49 years. Jose loved to fish and pick pecans. He loved to serve the Lord and take care of his family.

Jose is survived by his four daughters: Monica Hernandez, Marisol Chavarria, Maria Estella Chavarria and Martha and husband Martin Ferrer; three sons: Jose Luis Chavarria, Jr., Sergio Palacio, and Joey Salinas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four brothers: Ricardo y Silvia Chavarria de acuña, Lupe y Valdina Chavarria de Blanket, Ana Maria y Ramon Castillo, and Juan y Patricia Chavarria de Abeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecilo and Guadalupe Chavarrria; wife, Josie Chavarria; two brothers: Cecilo Chavarria and Arturo Chavarria; and one sister, Natalia Chavarria Cruz.

A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery with Felix Chavarria officiating. Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba, Texas, in charge arrangements.
